What would a first engagement look like?
Start with a short brief about carbon and community finance. Tell us your country, the task your team repeats, the output you need and your deadline. We will discuss the scope, deliverables and price before work begins.
- Describe the current process and the people using it.
- Agree the documents, workflow or system to deliver.
- Review the proposed scope and implementation approach.
Clarify the project before making a credit claim
Begin with the proposed activity, location, participating organisations and available information. We help organise project concepts, baseline material and questions for technical feasibility review. A concept, calculator or forecast is not an issued carbon credit. Relevant specialists and independent processes must establish the applicable methodology, eligibility, validation and verification requirements for the actual project.
Make community participation part of preparation
Community carbon financing should be discussed with a clear understanding of the people affected and the responsibilities of each partner. We can support consultation records, stakeholder mapping and the organisation of livelihood and participation information. Proposed benefit-sharing arrangements should be understandable to participants and reviewed through the appropriate project-specific legal and governance processes.
- Stakeholder mapping and documented consultation.
- Clear records of questions, concerns and agreed follow-up.
- Livelihood considerations and participation arrangements.
- Documentation for discussing transparent benefit sharing.
- Grievance and community-feedback workflows.
Prepare information for funding discussions
We can help shape project narratives, organise supporting evidence and prepare documentation for discussions with potential partners and funders. This is project-preparation support. It does not guarantee finance, credit issuance, a buyer or a particular price. Commercial assumptions and obligations should be assessed with the appropriate financial, legal and technical advisers before a commitment is made.
Build a practical monitoring workflow
The digital system should help a team organise source records, track agreed activities and prepare reviewed reports. We can discuss field-data capture, document management, dashboards and reporting templates based on the requirements established for the project. Our carbon and environmental-and-social tools provide a starting point for that discussion; using a tool does not replace a project’s required independent assessment, validation or verification.

Do you issue or certify carbon credits?
No. Our role is advisory, project preparation and digital support. Credit issuance and certification are subject to the relevant programme and independent assessment processes.
What should we bring to an initial discussion?
Bring a short description of the proposed activity, location, participating communities, potential partners and information already available. Use non-confidential summaries initially; we can then agree the specialist input and preparation work needed.
